Preserving Your Harvest: The Basics of Preserving Food Safely

Join us as Ann Hamilton, a UNH Extension Food Safety Specialist shares her knowledge on what we can do with our garden harvest. This introductory food preservation class will cover the latest research-based methods and recipes, answer questions, and share experiences about these topics:

  • preserving food safely at home 
  • using boiling water canners 
  • using pressure canners 
  • freezing 
  • drying food 

This program will be held outdoors and will be rescheduled in the event of rain.
