Children's Museum of NH Summer 2021 Library Outreach: Finding Science in Folktales

Join us and the Children's Museum of NH for "a trip around the world as we investigate animal science through popular folktales and legends! Participants travel from East Africa to Brazil and beyond as they hear how the King of birds was chosen, why Bear has a stumpy tail, and more. Each folktale will have a corresponding animal science focused experiment or activity".  This program is a 4-week series.

July 6: Unfreeze a Fish for Bear!

July 13: Design a UV Tortoise and Shelter!

July 20: Design a Throne for the King of the Birds!

July 27: Make a Climbing (or Flying) Beetle!

This program is for ages 5-11. Registration is required. Materials will be provided.  Bags will be available for pick up on Thursday, July 1 from 9:30 am-5:30 pm. There are only 25 spaces available for this program.
