Author Visit: Kathy Brodsky - Zoom

Thursday, April 14:00—5:00 PMZoom

How Talulah Turned ...Join us for a special program! Award winning children's book author Kathy Brodsky and illustrator Sarah Zeogas will be "visiting" the Sandown Public Library! Kathy will be reading her newest book, How Talula Turned Her Day Around.

How Tulula Turned Her Day Around is a book in rhyme with discussion questions about life following the story. There are also some fun activities (“funtivities”) in the book – as well as in the coloring book. Talula Turtle is sad because of Covid 19, she can’t see friends unless they’re wearing masks. In addition, school is now closed, so she feels pretty isolated. Talula and her mom then come up with a plan to still see friends – as they look to the future to when they can be with others, in person, without masks – and throw their masks into the trash!

Kathy Brodsky is a psychotherapist, poet, and award winning author who lives in New Hampshire. Kathy is the author of 16 books, including Stover, The Winner Is, A Horse Named Special, and A Catfish Tale. She collaborated with her niece, Sarah Zeogas on How Talula Turned Her Day Around.

Sarah Zeogas is an early education teacher who lives in Massachusetts with her husband, three kids, and their dog. Sarah has been drawing ever since she could hold a crayon! You can visit her at SarahZeogas.com
